NZ Immigration Update – New Border Exceptions announced for ICT professionals and Auditors

Immigration New Zealand has further added 600 places for ICT professionals and 180 places for External Auditors who can meet the border exception criteria.

Following class of workers will be eligible to enter New Zealand (including family) if they hold a job offer from a New Zealand employer and meeting minimum salary threshold:

• Software and Application Programmer
• ICT Manager
• ICT Security Specialist
• Multimedia Specialist
• External Auditor

There are certain salary conditions and immigration criteria that needs to be fulfilled by each applicant.
